How to Use Hamstring Fatigue to Increase Quad Recruitment

In terms of helping to get that back on, we can use what's called a hamstring fatigue. We have the H-reflex, which is something that the hamstring is just a little bit more tonic. So if we fatigue it maybe all through some membrane potentials, maybe now it can't quite that same sort of contraction. Maybe that now gives us better access to the quadriceps,. kind of like reciprocal inhibition. Exactly. That's an awesome use of understanding your neuromuscular system and using it to your advantage.
