The first type of diet break is a very brief one or two day thing where it's like you're in the middle of a dieting phase. The other kind, which is what I think might be a better choice for you is a little bit of a longer time frame. This is a maintenance break because when you go into this longer term diet break, you don't want to gain your weight back. So that's why I can like hang out and gain five, ten pounds.
