A lot of things we think of as healthy are not so great for humans. Gluten is a lectin that causes inflammation in the human gut, leading to regression of the small intestinal villi and autoimmune disease known as celiac. We know that rice contains arsenic and heavy metals. oats are very high in phytic acid, a nutrient that chelate minerals into the human body. There are much better ways to eat carbohydrates than vegetables.
This week, Paul covers several topics at a high level, alongside referencing previous detailed episodes. He is answering questions from his listeners about why animal-based eating is optimal, why meat is not harmful for humans, why vegetables are bad for us, andseveral other questions that he frequently gets asked.
