Is It Impossible to Prescribe a Stimulant?

There are some patients that I have that is what their physiology is. Also in terms of certain types of substance use conditions, when we're thinking about patients that might have had a methamphetamine use disorder. It actually can be efficacious to prescribe the stimulant in so much as it's preventing them from seeking it vis-a-vis the street where there's other harms. But again, this, I would say, should be within the purview of someone, that's what they do. They treat, they'll diagnose it as they treat substance use disorder.
