The Importance of Willpower in Sport Training
I think that willpower is obviously an important characteristic and it's very valuable in sport training. But when you have just let's look at addiction for a second, right? Is it just willpower that gets people to quit? Very often it takes a lot more than that. And I think habits are a similar thing. Willpower gets you so far, but you're not going to end a bad habit unless you replace it with a new habit in reality. If you're using your willpower for all of your goals all the time, you're just going to burn out.
