The Difference Between Anathems and Dialectical Arguments in Rhetoric
The fable used by esop is an example, not an enthemem. A dialectical argument is one based on merely agreed premises. Enthemems deal with practical questions like metaphysics or the soul. Aristotle says that rhetoric is akin to ethics and political philosophy.
