This is the holy trinity of breath and it's just a good way to think about it is that we're boxing ourselves into the doors with a girl. The first rule is put the breath rate under seven breaths per minute so you got to kind of play with itYou can do this for a minute or two or five and you're going to induce a much more calm state. You don't have to hurry but we want this nice rhythmic in and out breath to really get into that heart rate variability resonance.
