How to Double Down on What's Good for You
Having personal projects is a way for me to give myself a sense of accomplishment outside of work. I know what makes me feel energized and well cared for, but in my busiest seasons, I tend to view those things as luxuries or I convince myself that they're really not worth doing. For me, one thing that I've found that I have to lean into is my mornings. And using the approach to rituals that I outline in the inner workout book, I've rebuilt a flexible but still structured morning routine with movement at the foundation.
