SNL Sketch - Was Bill Murray on the Original Cast?
I was in high school when the first SNL started. And so they were for me sort of my version of what the Beatles or Elvis Presley were for previous generation. The thing just like rock my world. I'd go off into another room just to watch their show. One of the thrills of my life was years later through the Chicago Improv Festival, giving Lorraine Newman a lifetime achievement award. She came from her improv training as an LA. It was called The Groundlings,. which is a very character-focused.
