metabolic flexibility is kind of an interesting word where i think it cant kind of get confusing, cause it's a little nebulous. Being metabolically flexible comes down to what you're trying to achieve. For someone who leans more towards fat or cetogenic diet, there their trade off is likely they just won't be able to probably take in as much carbohydrate as someone who eats moderate, high carbohydrates and practices fuelling with that type of a fuel source routinely in their training. I've a hard time believing you can kind of do both simultaneously. And for me, personally, that tends to come somewhere in the carbo-fueling category.
