How to Slow Down Your Intervals to Be Closer to Goal Pace

I think it's good to use that self paced, well the self pacing, where you see you can run faster. You don't need to intentionally slow down to be closer to the goal pace. There's no rule that your V2 max intervals have to be your 5k pace or anything like that. So it's more about really kind of my rule of thumb is that you want to go close to as hard as you can for the session, but not quite as hard asyou can.
