Maoist China - The Cultural Revolution

The last chapter is the capitalist boom 1980 to 2008. Deng Xiaoping who like Mao had his number at first like Mao he was denounced and fell from power during the Cultural Revolution. He was purged as a rightist but he was allowed to he was rehabilitated. The only thing that's going to keep people on board is rising living conditions not the iron rice bowl which was the guaranteed social welfare contract in Maoist China.
