There's four levels inorganic value, or inorganic patterns of value. This is chemistry and the table of elements, all interacting in space before any planets are formed. And then there's social patterns of values, when organisms er begin to collaborate in organisms that we call communities, societies. Then there's intellectual patterns of value, which is when those societies build ideas and principles and ethics under a common rubric. That's emergent property societies. If an intellectual idea destroys the society, any upon which rests, than it's self defeated. You go down the path of devotion.
