The Importance of Stretching and Flexibility

You absolutely can stretch while you're sore. It's not going to help with your soreness. The only thing that I would possibly avoid is the active stretches. intensity is all relative. If you just think about stretching as a different form of working out than you're used to, then you're golden. Why does the average person dislike stretching? It's incredibly painful if you're doing it correctly. And it's really hard to come to terms with, hey, I have to be very, very uncomfortable for 30 full seconds - which feels like an eternity if you've never done stretching before.
