Is There a Normal Distribution of Incident Rates?
A total recordable injury frequency rate is a combination of lost time injuries and medical treatment industries. The researchers had a justification for they used triffer rather than any other sort of flagging indicator. But this was a little bit odd that they say it's harder to manipulate, which is absolutely a hundred % not true. And i'm a little bit sceptical that some of the results they find are actually correlations that they've accidentally caused by using rates instead of the raw numbers. All this is just illustrating how hard it is to get indicator statistics right. These are four highly competent and experienced research professionals. It's published in a respectable journal, and it's still got some serious statistical problems
