The Sears Tower of Chicago
George Crow Nimmons designed a huge Sears plant and administrative hub in Chicago. The company boasted that it was the largest commercial complex in the world at the time. It spanned multiple blocks, it covered existing streets, so it actually blocked off city streets. And they had its own radio station, WLS, short for world's largest store.
