The Role of Melatonin in Sleep
You don't want to do any thermogenic or, you know, heating of the core body temperature in the three hours before bed. Infrared saunas are going to be problematic for your sleep. Why? Because melatonin is produced when the body drops in core body temperature. This is why a shower in the evening is helpful. The evidence indicates melatonin is best used to reset the circadian rhythm.
