Sleeping on Your Back Is a Bad Idea
80% of all people with sleep apnia are currently undiagnosed. Sleeping on your back is a bad idea, because snoring is about the collapsing of your airways. There's some evidence that perhaps animals, when they sleep on year one side versus another, the clearance system can be a little bit better. But there's no good evidence in humans yet. If you're having back issues or joint issues, that is the time to be really mindful of how you're sleeping. Can you position yourself with pillows or on different sides?
