The Importance of Drug Interactions in Syncope
A calcium channel blocker called amlodapine or norvask can cause syncope. There's up to a sixfold increase in the risk of being hospitalized for hypotension after getting erythro and chlorothro. If someone comes in on clairerithromycin, erythroamycin with rhabdo or hypotension, you're going to reach for azithromycin.
