The Benefits of Lowering Chronically Elevated Blood Pressures in Primary Care
Inpatient blood pressures can definitely be elevated just due to the fact that they're in hospital. Adverse outcomes are higher if you treat asymptomatic hypertension so for me man I'm done with any form of treatment and this needs to be confirmed in the community over a period of time. What we need to do in ED is probably identify and try and get the patient to adapt any lifestyle factors rather than jumping in with medications. The paper at the moment that I will think about accepting all those weaknesses isn't there or there are some questionable parts in here? It does make a difference to how I'm going to practice or it validates my practice I guess more to the cynics though
