The Linda Problem by Kahneman Tversky
Kahneman and Tversky pioneered the field of cognitive biases and heuristics. One of their famous experiments was called the Linda Problem. The experiment asked subjects to choose between being a bank teller or active in the feminist movement. Most people chose the second option, which is what's known as the conjunction fallacy.
