Is It Better to Eat Before a Lift?

I think that if you can consume food before a lift, it's better. I don't eat prior to training sort of in the first half or a third of the, you know, first two thirds of the week just because of limitations to my schedule. If it was like unicorns and sparkles and rainbows, I'd work out at two o'clock, which never is an option for me because I'm usually getting my kids around that time.
