The Russia-China Alliance and the Global South

The Ukraine war laid bare the chasm really. The developing countries that are most impacted by this war more often than not support the Russian Chinese position. But then there are wealthier as you say, like in the Gulf, and they're still choosing to play both sides. Saudi Arabia recently promised foreign a million in aid, but yet is making deals with Russia on energy security. I think it needs to be a former Soviet countries that know very well what Russian imperialism is.
