Is There a Business Model That Will Stick With You Through Series A?
The key I look for is the firm culture and being, there are maybe five to 10 firms that really understand tech really well. You don't want to work with a firm that hasn't done lots of these VC transactions because then they'll throw in onerous terms. They encourage the founder to dig in their heels on things that are unreasonable or not marketable. The lawyers usually will oblige if you have a big firm who can't do it somewhere else but always available at the end of the week.
