In Benjamin L'Batt's experiments he believed that we have what's called free won't not free will free. created by regions of the brain that happened well before we're consciously aware but consciousness is there to go oh wait that's a terrible idea maybe I'm not going to say or do that perhaps I can hold off so how does it work? So anyway an event in the world creates a very fast reaction on deep region of brain leads to hormones which enter the bloodstream and then feelings internal states of comfort or discomfort is how the frontal cortex represents all of these fast changes feelings are entirely internal you don't know right now if I'm feeling relaxed or anxious or excited maybe
