The Importance of Positioning
The only other people that do that consistently are architects. They have their own dialect. A principal is someone who anybody else would call a president or a CEO or an owner, but at an architectural firm or a creative firm, it's called a principal. The IRS actually defines that in the US as anybody who owns 20% or more and we throw the term around all the time.
