When you look at the rates of global obesity, US is like right at the top. Italy much lower down with only about 10% obesity. And then South Korea is like way, way, way at the bottom near Japan with like 3%. So what is going on? Where did the trajectories go awry between the US and these other countries that love food are super modernized and yet have a fraction of the obesity that we do? Yeah. I focus on Italy because Italy is a Western culture. There's many Italian immigrants in North America and I love South Korea and Japan but there I think they're culturally more different.
