Has this ever happened to you?

You are at school or at an event and you are surrounded by parents, teachers and students. You are surrounded by hundreds of people, but you feel totally isolated and profoundly alone.

I remember this happening to me one year at my school’s holiday concert. I went up to the microphone and cheerfully welcomed everyone and told them how much time their children had spent preparing for the concert. I got down from the stage and sat down near the back of the auditorium. There were probably over 700 people there. But, I just remember feeling really, really lonely.

Being a private school leader can be a very lonely and very isolating job. But, it doesn’t have to stay that way. On today’s episode of The Private School Leader Podcast, we are going to discuss 5 Strategies To Overcome Feelings Of Loneliness And Isolation.
