Sync Agents - What's the Business Model?

Blue Buddha sync agents take a commission of the upfront sink fee. If they say we have $10,000 all in, that means including both of the sides publishing in the master hall and $10,00 for this song. So if your deal is, you know, 40% or something like that, you keep $4,000 and you pay the artist $6,000. And then the artist might make some money on performance royalties that they wrote the song because when songs get played on TV and streaming services, the songwriters earn and the publishers earn performance royalties.
