The Relationship Between Ambition and Competitiveness
I think it's worth separating ambition and competitiveness. I trace my ambition to wanting to see the way that I think businesses should run be executed at scale. As a young professional I didn't see that play out you know in professional services firms. And so like ambition came from like having a different view of how the world should be operating. Then competitiveness now manifests in wanting to make sure that the version of the thing that I believe is the one that plays out at scale.
