The Effects of Stress on Sleep
I think I would have done the past when I've been really stressed. Then I do the bad things to try and distract myself from the stress. And as a result, I probably stay up later than I should because I'm just trying to kind of like shift what I'm thinking about to something mindless. And then I have hardly got any sleep. It's actually interesting when working with mums of newborns or of kids that aren't sleeping very well. Even though they're so exhausted, it shows up in our sleep patterns that this body is experiencing this much stress. That's probably why the sleep school, they give them sleeping pills for the first few days. They do.
