The "Human Experience" is the deeply personal and shared journey of being alive - of being aware that we are here, now, and that this moment matters. 

However, this is not the same for everyone! The Human Experience of being disabled is a layered and often paradoxical journey—defined not only by one’s own body or mind, but also by how the world responds to it. It includes learning to live with something, and what it means to live against the assumptions of society.
