The Importance of Gravity in 2D Games

The engine is not a emulation nor is it some kind of articulation of any Mario game. It's completely whipped up from scratch, which makes it extremely dubious to me. You can't just say, this is Mario World or this is Mario three because it's a spin on a phone. So importantly, though it uses these graphical and sound assets, the engine is not an emulating one.
