The APOE4 gene is quite different in the sense that there's no evolutionary pressure to get rid of that gene. People who have that gene depending on if they have one or two copies are at an increased risk for Alzheimer's disease. We've exercised our bodies right for this the aim of longevity. Now if someone and their blood work presents with markers that you think might be predisposed towards dementia Alzheimer's, do we then not engage in some sort of cognitive skill exercise?
