Is There a Link Between Animal Foods and Alzheimer's Disease?

A new meta analysis of 33 prospective cohort studies found that dietary intake of total meat and poultry was significantly associated with a lower risk of cognitive impairment. Every additional 50 grams of unprocessed red meat per day was associated with a 20% lower risk of Alzheimer's disease, according to the UK biobank study. We can't paint them with this like malevolent quality that these are bad foods because in fact they're highly nutritious foods.
