The Power of Retrieval Practice

Students still have a better retention of it because of doing the retrieval practice. We've especially found that in k 12 and in medical education. It's pretty phenomenal. So our goal, my whole reason to want to have you on this podcast is because i don't believe teachers are doing this enough. I don't think they realize the power of it. And so as opposed to a teacher a perhaps reviewing everything from a previous lesson about ancient egypt, is to ask s to think about one thing from that lesson, or one thing about king tut. All involves this element of retrieval in away that review doesn't.
