The Illusion of Variety
I imagine if I was trying to select from my poems I'm worried I would find out that I'm basically trying to write the same poem again and again. That's probably why poems don't, I feel like tattoos because they feel like, you know, and then you can also justify the life chaos by going I need it for the book. But then you realize it's not necessarily that relationship that the poems will always be there.
