The Dangers of Supplementing With Crystalline Potassium

One banana has 420 milligrams of potassium, meaning to get the RDA, you'd need 10 bananas per day. Potassium found in nature or food, it's only really found in either plant complexes or muscle tissue which takes a while to break down digest and absorb. If you have too much, too fast, it's not a good thing. And that's why you can't supplement with it. It's illegal for supplements to be sold with more than 99 milligram of potassium.
