The unseason that kind of freaks out neither tries to make a big move to catch up. If you're just mindlessly listening to your jock jams putting in the miles and thinking oh maybe you're ready, yet you don't have those kind of come to Jesus moments in workouts long runs then you're doing yourself a disservice. You can get away with just physical physical physical preparation on the track and even shorter races because the suffering and severity of it is not as long but you can hide emotionally and mentally in the marathon. That's what makes transitioning from the track so tricky for the most skilled and competent athlete and successful athlete around the oval.
