A year ago now, I published my own methanosis on the topic. And it looks like a few caveats exist to those general findings. For all outcomes, for all outcomes, a four range of motion appeared superior to a partial inter motion. So when you consider that one study out of four found no difference in hypertrophy and three found a benefit in favor of lengthened partials,. While we don't have a ton of evidence, for sure, there's certainly an open and shut case that longer partials are better for hypertrophy than a 4 range of motion.
