The Myth of High Protein for Bone Health

There's some evidence that protein may induce a little bit of acidosis because you increase acid secretion from your stomach. But there isn't strong evidence that that calcium is coming specifically from bones. And if we're talking about people who resistance train and protein is helping you build more muscle, lifting weights itself is really beneficial for your bones. So in theory, I'd argue that a high protein diet alongside resistance training is actually one of the best things you can do for your bones - not the opposite.
