The End of Liberal Democracy
Hegel said liberal democracy had reached a kind of critical mass in the world and there would be no turning back. In hindsight, however, 1806 may have been a little premature because Napoleon was stopped. Liberal democracy was just one ideology out of many that were in a messy battle royal to determine how to arrange social life.
