In 1969, it was a particular singular event that really helped me to crystallize this. In the 60s, I was developing a mind body approach to deep relaxation. A woman who suffered from severe panic attacks and agoraphobia went to see Peter for help. He told her: "You must relax, you need to relax" Her heart rate went down and down but then boom, it just out of glue shot up to about 160 beats a minute.
