But then i imagine all those corporations and countries with their eyes on that ten quadrillion pound prize. And i think, good luck with that. The right answer is that if making a i better and better makes the problem worse and worse, then we've got the whole thing wrong. We think we want machines that achieve the objectives we give them, but actually we want something else. Later in the series, i'll explain what that new form of ai might be - which will be provably beneficial to the human race
