The Mind and the Heart in Buddhism
The mind in Buddhism, or as Eugene was talking about last night, he kept calling the mind the heart. So that the mind is a process and activity. And because it's an activity, a process, processes, thinking those processes and activities are malleable, changeable. You're not stuck in one particular way. That's why practice can work. Some people are blinded by what's happening and they don't see how they're relating to it. I've done that in my practice where I've tried, for example, to get concentrated. The what was the breath?
