How to Get Around the Fact That Joseph Smith Is a Sexual Predator

A church historian said joseph smith was sincere meaning he really believed that he should be practicing polygamy and so that excuses it. To me if that's your response then that means you know it was wrong, i can't imagine in what world that's defensible. I'm thinking to myself as a 14 year old girl if i really believe that a man is a prophet of god and he tells me that i can secure the salvation of my family by marrying him of course i'm going to do that. It would be so selfish of me to throw away my entire family's salvation just because i didn't want to marry somebody  of course i would give my whole life for that
