There's a great study that was done. And I can't remember where it was, but it's mentioned in Frank Anderson's book. So when they were alone, 12 parts of their brain had to light up to bring them back into self connection to calm them back down. When they held the hand of a stranger, eight parts of theirbrain lit up and pulled them back into resilience again.
