Introduction
Refeeding sindrome occurs when someone is in a starvation state. While they're starving, their indogenous stores of phosphate, magnesium and potassium get run down. And then, if you give them a bunch of carbohydrates,. refeed them, basically, their insolent surges. This causes their phosphate magnesium levels to tank. It can actually get like a hyper insolent state. That can cause sodium retention, and it can cause pulminary congestion and a lot of different problems. Dthis is extreme. It's potentially fatal.
