The Importance of Integrity in Relationships

I love that distinction between manipulation and influence. I think integrity is acting with the intentions of the other person ahead of those of yourself. People believe they're worth a certain sum of money, but you're only worth that certain money towards somebody's unique set of circumstances. We've got to be people of our words. Yes, we've got to wake up in the future feeling okay about what it is that we've done. But also need to have the integrity in ourselves to not tell ourselves a pack of lies towards who we are or what we were.
