Are We Going to See Traditional Madeiras Get Really Expensive?
Traditional madeira can be embottled for up to a hundred years. The traditional way of restoring it is to decant it into either a decanter or into a large bottle called a damajon, and leave it there for a few months. I wonder if it's going to go in the way of old champagne and sort of sky rocket and price - where's the ceiling on that?
